Peace Council

According to a U.S. report, the American administration is considering asking Israel to transfer a significant portion of Palestinian tax revenues to the Peace Council set up to manage Gaza. The money would be used to rebuild the Strip.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met at his Jerusalem office with the head of the "Peace Council" for the Gaza Strip, Nikolay Mladenov. Also attending were U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee and businessman Michael Eisenberg.
