Dozens of Haredi protesters from the “Jerusalem Faction” blocked Highway 4 near Bnei Brak as part of a protest over the arrests of yeshiva students. Police cleared the road by force. Eight protesters were injured and five were arrested. Shas chairman MK Aryeh Deri called on National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir: “Stop the violence against בני התורה.” Ben Gvir responded: “I will hold an urgent discussion on the use of stun grenades against a civilian population.”
