The IDF says it struck southern Gaza and killed Ahmed Hasham Mahmoud Louh, the leader of a Hamas sniper cell in the Nuseirat Battalion. In a separate strike, it said it killed Mahmoud Ali Mahmoud Taroush, a military-wing platoon commander who took part in the October 7 attack on Israeli communities near Gaza.
The IDF said it struck and destroyed several Hamas weapons depots in central and northern Gaza. One of the destroyed caches was set up inside a mosque in northern Gaza, while IDF troops also located long-range rocket launch sites.
Ahead of talks expected next week in Italy, Israel has told Lebanon it will maintain security freedom of action in evacuated areas. Lebanon opposes the demand.
An indictment has been filed against an Israeli citizen who served in both regular and reserve duty in a classified unit. He is accused of attempting to pass information to an Iranian intelligence operative. His attorney: "The facts do not establish the elements of the offenses attributed to my client, and we will prove that."

Dutch security officials said three young people, two of them minors, were arrested on suspicion of involvement in planning a terrorist operation. Authorities are examining possible links to ISIS.
