mufletaIngredients
1 kg (about 7 cups) sifted flour
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon dry yeast
25 g (about 2 tablespoons) margarine
3 cups lukewarm water (add gradually while mixing)
1 tablespoon sugar
Instructions
Place all the ingredients in a mixer and knead for about 5 minutes until a soft dough forms.
Divide the dough into small balls, about 40 in total.
Dip each ball in oil and coat it well on all sides.
Let the balls rest on a tray for about 30 minutes.
With oiled hands, gently stretch each ball into a thin sheet and place it onto a hot pan.
When one mufleta is ready, place another on top and flip them together.
Continue stacking and flipping in this way until all the dough balls are cooked, forming a stack of mufletas.
Enjoy!
