One Month Into "Lion's Roar": 19 Civilians Killed, 1,629 Injured
Magen David Adom releases casualty data one month into the fighting: of 2,050 people treated, 504 were hit by rocket fire (19 killed); 1,122 were hurt while heading to shelter; and 22 were injured in traffic accidents when they pulled over during sirens.

According to the data, in the past 24 hours, up to 7:00 p.m., Magen David Adom teams provided medical care to 26 people, including 2 with mild smoke inhalation, 12 who were lightly injured while heading to shelter, and 12 suffering from anxiety.
Since the start of Operation "Lion's Roar," Magen David Adom teams have provided medical care to 2,050 people, including 1,629 with physical injuries and 421 with anxiety. Of those with physical injuries, 504 were hurt by rocket fire, including 19 fatalities—18 pronounced dead at the scene and 1 who died of his wounds in the hospital. Twenty people were seriously injured, 34 moderately, and 431 lightly.
Additionally, 1,122 were injured on the way to shelter, and three died of their injuries. Another 22 were injured in traffic accidents when they pulled over during the sirens.
