Deep Inside Southern Lebanon, Israeli Forces Uncover Underground Route Packed With Weapons and Launch Shafts
Troops from Brigade 551, operating near the village of Majdal Zoun about 10 kilometers inside Lebanon, uncovered a network loaded with rockets and weapons. During the operation, more than 20 Hezbollah operatives were killed.

Forces from Brigade Combat Team 551, under the command of Division 91, operating in the area of the village of Majdal Zoun, about 10 kilometers inside Lebanon, located infrastructure sites loaded with rockets and weapons. That is what the IDF Spokesperson said this evening (Sunday). The findings from the operation in the village indicate that the village was fortified and filled with terror infrastructure, including a significant underground route that was uncovered.

During the operation, more than 20 Hezbollah operatives were killed, including more than 10 operatives from the "Radwan Force" unit, and more than 50 terror infrastructure sites were destroyed, including observation posts and weapons storage facilities. In addition, forces from the Yahalom unit located a significant underground route measuring more than 200 meters in length and more than 25 meters deep, containing four launch shafts and 12 rooms, including living quarters and rooms used to store explosive devices, anti-tank missiles, and unmanned aircraft.
