An Israeli rescue delegation has arrived in Venezuela and begun search and rescue operations in disaster-affected areas. The 16-member team includes professionals from three Israeli organizations - Magen, Ready for Rescue, and SmartAID - working alongside local Venezuelan emergency forces. The team is conducting structural assessments of damaged buildings, scanning rubble for survivors, and providing humanitarian assistance to affected communities. Team members described the scale of destruction as severe, even for personnel with extensive international disaster response experience. Search operations are ongoing in several areas. All three organizations have prior experience in international disaster relief, and the delegation is expected to remain on the ground in the coming days.
