IDF: Hamas Naval Commander Killed in Gaza City Airstrike
According to the IDF, a Hamas naval commander involved in rebuilding the group's maritime capabilities was killed in an airstrike on Gaza City.

Strike in Gaza (Photo: Flash90)The IDF Spokesperson announced today (Tuesday) that the IDF struck Gaza City yesterday, killing Osama Naim Hamdi Shamlakh, a Hamas naval unit cell commander.
According to the IDF, Shamlakh had been working throughout the war, including in recent weeks, to rebuild and strengthen Hamas's naval capabilities while advancing terrorist plans in the maritime arena.
In a separate strike in northern Gaza, the IDF said three additional Hamas terrorists were killed after they were identified carrying weapons and attempting to carry out terror activities against Israeli forces.
According to the military, the terrorists posed an immediate threat to IDF troops operating in the area and were eliminated in precise airstrikes.
