Trump: "I’m Considering a Massive Strike — Bigger Than Anything We’ve Seen Before"

President Donald Trump said today (Thursday), in a phone interview with Channel 12 News, that he is seriously considering returning to a broad war against Iran. According to him, he is weighing "launching an attack that would be bigger than Operation Epic Fury." Trump noted that he has not yet made a final decision, and according to the report, has not given any new orders to the military.

In the interview, the American president said: "I’m considering a massive strike. Bigger than anything we’ve seen before. I’m close to making a decision. We are fully prepared for it." When asked whether Israel would be a partner in the strike, he replied: "Israel would join within two minutes if I asked, but we don’t need anyone to launch a new operation against Iran."

Trump added that there would be "consequences" if Israel joins attacks against Iran, hinting at an Iranian response against Israel. The American president said the Iranians "want to negotiate, but at this stage they are not ready to reach a deal. They still haven’t felt enough pain."

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu scheduled a limited security discussion for tomorrow at noon.
