IDF: Terrorist Who Raided Be’eri on October 7 and Took Part in Kidnapping Killed
The IDF said Tarek Anwar Khamis Ra’i, a company commander in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad supply network, was killed in a strike in Khan Younis. Ra’i raided Be’eri during the October 7 massacre, participated in the kidnapping of an Israeli, and had recently advanced terror plans.

According to the IDF, Ra’i took part in the October 7 massacre, raided Kibbutz Be’eri, and participated in the kidnapping of an Israeli.
The strike that killed Ra’i was carried out the day before yesterday in the Khan Younis area. The IDF said that alongside his role in the events of October 7, the terrorist had continued in recent months to advance terror activity against Israel, including plans intended to harm IDF forces and Israeli civilians.
The IDF Spokesperson’s announcement stated: "During the October 7 massacre, Khamis Ra’i raided Kibbutz Be’eri and took part in the kidnapping of an Israeli civilian." The military added: "In recent times, the terrorist advanced terror plans against IDF forces and civilians of the State of Israel and was eliminated to remove the threat."
The IDF also said: "IDF forces under Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue operating to remove every immediate threat."
