U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon: Israeli Strikes Will End When Hezbollah Disarms
Michel Issa, the U.S. ambassador to Lebanon, responded to questions about why no agreement has been reached to halt Israeli strikes. He added: "Hezbollah does not want to do anything, so why are we demanding that Israel do everything?"

Meanwhile, Michel Issa, the U.S. ambassador to Lebanon, made an unequivocal statement to local media when asked why there is still no agreement between Lebanon and Israel. In his words, "No agreement has been reached to stop the Israeli strikes because Hezbollah has not disarmed. Hezbollah does not want to do anything, so why are we demanding that Israel do everything?"
Issa was also asked when the Israeli strikes in Lebanon would stop. He replied: "Tell Hezbollah that if it hands over its weapons, everything will stop."
