Serious Charges: Israeli Citizen Accused of Working for Foreign Intelligence
Israel’s State Attorney’s Office has filed an indictment against an Israeli citizen allegedly recruited by foreign intelligence operatives and involved in a foreign influence campaign targeting Israel.

The court granted the security agencies’ request and permitted the publication of only a paraphrase.
The details cleared for publication: "An Israeli citizen was arrested for questioning by the Shin Bet and police on suspicion of security offenses. The investigation found that the individual had been recruited by foreign intelligence operatives and was involved in foreign influence activity. At the conclusion of the investigation, an indictment and a request for detention until the end of legal proceedings were filed against him over the security offenses attributed to him, in light of his recruitment by foreign intelligence operatives against the State of Israel."
The court ruled that any other details are prohibited from publication.
