Lebanese media reported Monday afternoon that the IDF carried out strikes on Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon. The strikes were conducted in the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and the village of Deir ez-Zahrani. Both locations are described as Shiite communities that support Hezbollah. According to Lebanese reports, at least three people were killed in the strikes.

In addition, the IDF Spokesperson confirmed that Hezbollah operatives launched two explosive drones overnight toward IDF forces operating in the Ali Taher ridge area, within the security zone in southern Lebanon. No Israeli forces were injured. This marks the third consecutive day that the operatives have launched explosive drones toward IDF troops.

Immediately afterward, the IDF struck several Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites in several areas of southern Lebanon in response, including a weapons depot. In addition, the IDF struck several operatives who were identified transferring weapons in the Kfar Roummane area, in order to remove the threat to Israeli forces.

Before the strikes, steps were taken to reduce harm to uninvolved civilians, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance. Claims that several uninvolved civilians were harmed as a result of the strikes are being examined.

In addition, following the launch of explosive drones yesterday, the IDF struck in the Nabatieh area and eliminated several operatives from the Hezbollah terror organization. According to Lebanese reports, a total of nine Hezbollah operatives were eliminated.
