The Shin Bet and Israel Police arrested a 29-year-old Nazareth resident on suspicion of contacting Hamas in an attempt to join the organization and advance terror activity. Investigators say he also planned to harm a sitting government minister.

An Israeli citizen from Nazareth allegedly spent months taking direction from a foreign handler, photographing sensitive sites—including security facilities, IDF bases, and the Haifa oil refineries—in exchange for digital payments. Prosecutors have filed an indictment and requested that she remain in custody until the end of the proceedings.
