Two men in their 30s were arrested on suspicion of planning an attack against the Jewish community in the Manchester area. British police said the plot was thwarted and that there is currently no ongoing threat to the public.

A man and woman were arrested in London on suspicion of assisting a foreign intelligence service in an Iran-related investigation. Police stressed there is no immediate threat to the public, and the suspects were released on bail under strict conditions until October.

A man in his 30s from Husniyya was arrested in a joint police and Shin Bet investigation on suspicion of identifying with ISIS. Investigators say he watched tutorials on combat, weapons use, missile and drone production, and trained in preparation for joining the organization abroad.

Five East Jerusalem residents were arrested by the Shin Bet and police. Authorities say they were directed by Salah Hamouri, a senior figure in the Popular Front. Hamouri was also involved, among other things, in the 2005 attempted assassination of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef.

At the direction of Defense Minister ישראל כ"ץ, the head of Central Command signed an amendment to the order allowing the death penalty law for terrorists to be applied in the West Bank. The law applies to terrorists who, God forbid, murder Israelis and are captured alive.

Acting on Shin Bet intelligence, Israeli Border Police and Central District officers arrested two Palestinians in Tel Mond who were in Israel illegally. One is suspected of plotting an attack in the near future; a second detainee is being checked for terror ties.
