The IDF Spokesperson said this morning (Thursday) that over the past 24 hours, more than 20 Hezbollah terrorists were killed, alongside extensive strikes on the group’s military infrastructure.
At the center of the operation is Division 36, which continues to operate inside Lebanese territory as part of an ongoing effort to thwart threats. Yesterday, combat teams from the Golani Brigade’s battle group spotted two armed terrorist cells in separate incidents. In one of them, the terrorists attempted to fire anti-tank missiles at the forces operating in the area.
The response was swift: "Immediately after the identification and a rapid close of the loop, the troops killed five terrorists, and the Air Force killed three additional terrorists in an airstrike."
The IDF added that dozens of Hezbollah military structures used for operational activity were destroyed. Troops also located and confiscated a wide range of weapons, including RPGs, anti-tank rockets, ammunition, a hunting rifle, and other military gear.
The IDF emphasized: "The IDF will continue to act forcefully against the terrorist organization Hezbollah, which chose to join the fighting and operate under the auspices of the Iranian regime, and will not allow harm to Israeli civilians."
