Easy Caramelized Almond Brittle

Ingredients

  • 350 g raw almonds

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

In a saucepan, heat the sugar and water over medium heat until a caramel forms.

Add the almonds and stir until they are evenly coated in caramel. Add the lemon juice and mix well.

Grease a baking tray. Pour the almond mixture into the tray and spread it evenly into a thin layer.

Place the tray in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours.

Once fully cooled, cut into cubes or pieces.
