Hidabroot Privacy Policy: How We Protect Your Data

Privacy Policy

Because the Hidabroot organization respects the privacy of users of the websites it operates (hereinafter - "the Sites"), the association has decided to publish its policy regarding privacy protection on the Sites, and it undertakes toward the user to uphold this policy.

The purpose of this policy is to explain the Company’s practices regarding the privacy of users on the Sites, and how the Company uses information provided by users on the Sites or collected by it while using the Sites.

 

Overview

When you use the services of the Sites, information about you is collected. Some of this information identifies you personally—such as your name and address, products and services you purchased or sought to sell, the payment methods you used, and the like. This is information you knowingly provide, for example when you register for services on the Sites. Some of the information does not identify you personally and is not stored together with your details. This is statistical, aggregated information. For example, ads you read on the Site, the pages you viewed, the offers and services that interested you, the Internet address (IP) from which you accessed, and more.

 

Signing Up for Services

If personal details are required when registering for services on the Sites or when purchasing products there, the Company will request only the information directly necessary to provide the services or complete the purchase.

Database

The data collected will be stored in the Company’s database and under its responsibility.

How We Use Your Information

 Use of the information collected will be made only in accordance with this Privacy Policy or any applicable law, in order to –

  • Allow you to use the various services on the Sites.
  • Improve and enrich the services and content offered on the Sites.
  •  Change or cancel existing services and content.
  • For purchasing products and services on the Sites - including publishing information and content.
  •  To tailor the ads displayed during your visits to the Sites to your areas of interest.

The information the Company will use will mainly be statistical information that does not personally identify you.

Email Updates and Marketing

The Company would like to send you, from time to time, emails about its services as well as marketing and promotional information. Such information will be sent to you only if you have given explicit consent when subscribing to newsletters or downloading content from the site, and you may withdraw your consent and stop receiving it at any time.

The Company will not provide your personal details to advertisers. However, it may transfer statistical information about user activity on the Sites.

Any statistical information shared will not personally identify you.

 

Sharing Information with Third Parties

The Company will not transfer your personal details and the information collected about your activity on the Site to third parties except in the following cases:

  • If you purchase products and services from third parties offering them for sale through the Sites, the information necessary to complete the purchase will be provided to those third parties.
  • In the event of a legal dispute between you and the Company that requires disclosure of your details.
  • If you perform actions on the Sites that are contrary to the law.
  • If a court order is received instructing that your details or information about you be provided to a third party.

Cookies

The Company’s website uses "cookies" (Cookies) for its regular and proper operation, including to collect statistical data about use of the site, to verify details, to tailor the site to your personal preferences, and for information security purposes.

Modern browsers include an option to avoid receiving Cookies. If you do not know how to do this, check the help file of the browser you use.

Third-Party Advertisements

The Company permits other companies to manage the advertising system on the Sites. The ads you view when visiting the Sites come from those companies’ servers. To manage their advertising, those companies place Cookies on your computer. The Cookies allow them to collect information about the sites where you saw the ads they placed and which ads you clicked. The use those companies make of Cookies is subject to their own privacy policies and not the Company’s privacy policy.

Data Security

The Company implements up-to-date systems and procedures for information security on its Sites. While these systems and procedures reduce the risks of unauthorized intrusion, they do not provide absolute security. Therefore, the Company does not undertake that its services will be completely immune from unauthorized access to the information stored on them.

Your Right to Review Information

Under the Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, every person is entitled to review information about them held in a database. A person who has reviewed information about them and found that it is not correct, complete, clear, or up to date may contact the owner of the database with a request to correct the information or delete it.

In addition, if the information in the Company’s databases is used for a personal approach to you, you are entitled, under the Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, to demand in writing that the information relating to you be deleted from the database.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

If material changes are made to this policy in provisions regarding the use of personal information you provided, a notice will be posted on the home page of the Sites.
