Ingredients

  • 7 oz (200 g) cream cheese
  • 8 thin slices smoked salmon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped chives

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese and salt.
  2. Season with black pepper and add some of the chopped chives, reserving the rest for garnish.
  3. Lay the smoked salmon slices flat on a work surface.
  4. Spread a thin, even layer of the cream cheese mixture over each slice of salmon.
  5. Starting from the narrow end, roll each slice tightly into a log.
  6. Slice each roll into bite-sized pieces or larger portions, depending on your preference.
  7. Arrange the rolls on a serving platter and sprinkle with the remaining chopped chives.
