IDF Says It Killed Hamas Drone Unit Commander in Central Gaza Camps

In a strike carried out by the IDF yesterday (*Shabbat*) in central Gaza, the terrorist Haman Eid was killed. He served as commander of the drone unit in the military wing of the Hamas terrorist organization in the central camps, the IDF Spokesperson said today.

According to the statement, as part of his role, Eid was responsible for producing drones intended to harm Israeli civilians and IDF forces. The statement also said that he had previously served as commander of the drone squad in the central camps, and in that role took part in terror operations carried out against IDF forces in the aerial arena.

The IDF said that in recent months, Eid had been working to rebuild the aerial array of the Hamas terrorist organization, “in violation of the ceasefire agreement.”

The IDF Spokesperson’s statement added that “IDF forces under Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue operating to remove any threat.”
