Police Launch Nationwide Emergency Preparedness Drill in Northern and Central Israel
Police have begun a drill across northern and central Israel, practicing complex, multi-front emergency scenarios with an emphasis on terror attacks, civilian emergencies, and large-scale force deployment.

According to police, the exercise is part of the annual training program and the Israel Police’s operational preparedness for responding to emergency incidents. It was stated that "as part of the drill, complex, multi-front emergency scenarios will be practiced, with an emphasis on terror attacks, civilian emergencies, and the deployment of forces on a large scale, with the goal of maintaining and strengthening the readiness, preparedness, and operational response of all police forces. During the exercise, emphasis will be placed on command-and-control processes, cooperation, and coordination among organizations."<\/p>
As a result, increased movement of security forces, patrol cars, a helicopter, and emergency vehicles will be noticeable on major roads and in various areas across northern Israel, the coastal district, and central Israel. There may be localized road closures and changes to traffic arrangements. Israel Police ask the public to remain alert, follow the instructions of officers on the ground, and avoid gathering unnecessarily in drill areas.<\/p><\/p>
