The IDF announced today (Wednesday) that forces from the 91st Division are continuing operational activity in the security zone in southern Lebanon, with the aim of removing threats to northern Israeli communities and Israeli civilians.

As part of the operation, soldiers from the 300th Brigade, together with forces from the Yahalom Unit, destroyed a tunnel route dozens of meters long in the Sarbin area that had been used by Hezbollah. According to the IDF, it was intended to help the organization advance and carry out terror attacks against IDF forces.

Alongside the destruction of the underground infrastructure, IDF forces have continued additional operations across southern Lebanon in recent days. As part of these activities, soldiers from the Kfir Brigade operated in the area and located a Hezbollah weapons depot containing launchers and rockets belonging to the organization.

At the same time, forces from the 4th Brigade conducted additional searches in the area, during which they located dozens of weapons of various types. Among the items found were Kalashnikov rifles, anti-tank rockets, and additional combat equipment.
