After a sweeping American assault on 140 targets in Iran, alerts were activated in Qatar, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards claimed they destroyed a command-and-control center at Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan. U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said, "Iran made a bad choice, and now it is paying for it."

A senior UAE official warned Iran of imminent retaliation after overnight attacks, as Kuwait reported intercepting Iranian drones and ballistic missiles.

The United Arab Emirates said it intercepted two drones that entered the country from the west. A separate drone struck a nuclear power station, causing damage. The assessment: the Houthis were behind the attack, acting on Iran’s orders. Iranian media also published the terms of a U.S. proposal that Tehran rejected.

According to the "Wall Street Journal," Mossad Director Dadi Barnea visited the United Arab Emirates at least twice to coordinate against the Iranian threat. Just yesterday, the U.S. ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, confirmed that Israel deployed "Iron Dome" systems and troops in the country to help counter Iranian attacks.

The U.K. reported ship attacks in the Persian Gulf by Revolutionary Guard boats. Iran's foreign minister: "There will be no talks on the nuclear issue".

Early in the fighting, Israel sent an "Iron Dome" battery and an IDF team to the Emirates amid tight security and diplomatic coordination, Axios reports.

A Wall Street Journal report says both Gulf powers are nearing a decision on direct involvement. Riyadh has opened its bases to U.S. forces, and a source warns: "It's only a matter of time."
