U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance accused Israeli figures of trying to undermine the Trump administration's negotiations with Iran and criticized attacks on Washington.

U.S. Vice President JD Vance and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived at the hall in Switzerland where talks between the delegations got underway. Vance said, "Iran is prepared to reduce the level of enrichment." Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said, "We will never give up our right to enrich uranium."

Vice President JD Vance told Fox News that a long-term deal on Iran’s nuclear program may be possible — and that Israel may or may not welcome it. Overnight, the Israeli Air Force intercepted a drone launched from Yemen toward Eilat.

At a Monday cabinet meeting, the prime minister said fighting around Bint Jbeil continues, claimed U.S.–Iran talks collapsed over Iran’s “blatant” violations, voiced full support for a U.S. naval blockade on Iran, and vowed “there will not be another Holocaust.”
