On the Eve of Israel’s Memorial Day, 170 More Names Were Added to the Roll of the Fallen
Israel’s Defense Ministry and the National Insurance Institute released updated figures: 25,644 fallen service members and 5,313 civilians killed in terror since 1860; 59,583 bereaved family members today. Ceremonies may be limited due to security; 79 civilians were murdered since last Memorial Day.
