Strawberries & Cream Dessert Cups

A light and elegant layered dessert with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and vanilla pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 basket of strawberries

  • 1 container heavy cream (or non-dairy whipping cream)

  • 2 tablespoons instant vanilla pudding mix

  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries: Wash the strawberries well. Set aside 5 strawberries, and dice the rest into small cubes. Place a few cubes at the bottom of each serving glass.

  2. Whip the cream: Whip the cream together with the pudding mix for a few minutes, until stiff peaks form. Spoon or pipe some whipped cream over the strawberries in each glass.

  3. Make the sauce: Blend the remaining 5 strawberries with the powdered sugar until smooth, creating a syrup.

  4. Assemble: Drizzle a little of the strawberry syrup over the whipped cream in each glass.
