Less than a day after posting that he had instructed the military to "open the gates of hell," President Donald Trump is now issuing another threat. He said he does not currently believe Israel needs to be brought into a strike on Iran.

President Donald Trump shared what he said was his directive to the U.S. military. The U.S. has updated Israel that it plans to intensify its strikes in Iran. Iran may carry out its threat to launch missiles at all countries in the Middle East that support the Americans.

Israel’s defense establishment is closely watching the risk of a new escalation in the Persian Gulf. With the possibility that the U.S. could intensify its strikes on Iran, there is growing concern that Iran may target Israel.

Marking 1,000 days since the war began, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said Iran remains the military’s top readiness priority. He urged continued vigilance, warning: "We are in an interim period. The arenas are interconnected, and any action in one could affect the others."
