Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, responded to a demand from Southeast Asian nations that North Korea dismantle its nuclear arsenal. She stressed: "This is a foolish demand."

Iran’s Foreign Ministry said there is no agreement allowing IAEA inspectors into the country. Earlier, Vice President J.D. Vance said talks in Switzerland had produced an understanding that nuclear inspectors could arrive in Iran as soon as this week.

U.S. and Iranian leaders, Donald Trump and Mojtaba Khamenei, have not yet approved the memorandum of understanding their delegations agreed on. U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the nuclear issue may not be included in the initial memorandum of understanding.

In a post on X, Iranian parliament spokesman Ebrahim Rezaei warned the U.S. and Israel, saying lawmakers may consider 90% enrichment if Iran is attacked again. U.S. and Israeli intelligence agree: Tehran’s nuclear program won’t be curbed unless its enriched-uranium stockpile is removed or destroyed.
