Drone Attack

At a major arms expo in Paris, the French military introduced an upgraded Leclerc tank with a dedicated anti-drone protective cage—offering a glimpse of how armored warfare is changing in an era shaped by explosive drones and artificial intelligence.

The IDF says an explosive drone hit the Shomera sector this morning, wounding 12 soldiers—two moderately and ten lightly. Troops from the IDF’s ultra-Orthodox Hashmonaim Brigade helped evacuate the wounded. Several other soldiers were treated for anxiety and ear ringing. Around midday, interceptors launched near the Lebanon border and the IDF began hitting Hezbollah infrastructure; a launcher was destroyed in the Mount Dov area.
