IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir visited Division 91, saying the IDF is determined to clear the area south of the Litani River of Hezbollah’s presence and prevent the group from rebuilding its capabilities. “The war is not over,” he said.

Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir announced that former Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi will be dismissed from the IDF. At this stage, the process does not include a rank reduction.

Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Chair MK Boaz Bismuth slammed IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir over a 30-day prison sentence given to a Nahal soldier who wore a "Messiah" patch. Speaking with the soldier’s parents, he said, "The punishment is disproportionate, wrong, and unjust."

During a visit in southern Lebanon, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir toured a Hezbollah tunnel beneath a children's clothing store, highlighted major blows against the group, and said the military has targets ready in Iran as coordination with the U.S. continues.

At the IDF Senior Command Conference, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel is striking within the security zone and north of the Litani, maintaining freedom of action under agreements with the U.S. and Lebanon. He warned that two key Hezbollah threats remain.

IDF Chief’s visit focuses on operational coordination and early warning, as Israel prepares for Washington’s next steps
