IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir toured Southern Command and stressed that the IDF is continuing to systematically strike Hamas. He said the pursuit of those responsible for the October 7 massacre will continue without pause.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir toured the Judea and Samaria Division today as forces continue counterterror operations. He also addressed the possibility of escalation following the launch toward Aqaba, saying, "We are maintaining a high level of alert."

During a visit to southern Lebanon, IDF Chief Eyal Zamir said Hezbollah has been weakened and warned that any threat to Israel will be struck immediately.

Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir announced that former Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi will be dismissed from the IDF. At this stage, the process does not include a rank reduction.

Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Chair MK Boaz Bismuth slammed IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir over a 30-day prison sentence given to a Nahal soldier who wore a "Messiah" patch. Speaking with the soldier’s parents, he said, "The punishment is disproportionate, wrong, and unjust."

During a visit in southern Lebanon, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir toured a Hezbollah tunnel beneath a children's clothing store, highlighted major blows against the group, and said the military has targets ready in Iran as coordination with the U.S. continues.
