Northern border

Israel’s Home Front Command is allowing students to return to school in northern border communities and is raising the cap on outdoor gatherings to 100 people, up from 50. In the Upper Galilee and the Golan, restrictions have been lifted entirely.

A Hezbollah operative was killed in Lebanon while collecting an unmanned aerial vehicle. Overnight, for the first time, an early warning alert was activated for rocket fire from Lebanon toward the Galilee panhandle.

Five divisions and Navy forces are operating south of the line; Lebanese reports cite exchanges of fire with Hezbollah and homes detonated in several villages.
