Israel’s Home Front Command said that starting Monday at 6 a.m., the entire country will be considered an area without restrictions. Hezbollah responded: "There is no ceasefire with freedom of action for Israel. The IDF must withdraw."

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir held a situational assessment with division and brigade commanders in southern Lebanon following the ceasefire announcement. He said the IDF is operating extensively in the Ali Taher and Beaufort areas.

U.S. Vice President JD Vance and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived at the hall in Switzerland where talks between the delegations got underway. Vance said, "Iran is prepared to reduce the level of enrichment." Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said, "We will never give up our right to enrich uranium."

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said the U.S. bears direct responsibility for violating the ceasefire and fueling the regional escalation: "Washington's responsibility for violating the ceasefire is clear."

After the United States announced a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon, Israel’s political system responded fast. Defense Minister ישראל כ"ץ praised what he called a major diplomatic achievement and even raised the possibility of a future peace deal, while National Security Minister איתמר בן גביר warned that Hezbollah would only grow stronger.

According to a Wall Street Journal report, President Donald Trump told his advisers that if American troops are harmed by fire from Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, it could bring the ceasefire with Iran to an end.

The U.S. administration said talks between Israel and Lebanon ended with an agreement to extend the ceasefire by 45 days. Hezbollah responded with drones and explosive UAVs aimed at northern Israel, while the IDF carried out strikes in southern Lebanon.

The IDF says Northern Brigade troops, alongside the Yahalom engineering unit, dismantled roughly 14 km of Hamas tunnel infrastructure around Beit Hanoun in recent months.

Tehran’s proposal, relayed through mediators, conditions renewed talks on full U.S. acceptance of its framework. It prioritizes reopening the Strait of Hormuz and a ceasefire, while deferring nuclear negotiations to a later stage.

Israel’s and Lebanon’s ambassadors in Washington meet tomorrow for another round of talks. Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun sets an initial condition of an IDF withdrawal from Lebanese territory and calls for at least a one-month ceasefire. Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar: "Hezbollah is a shared enemy of Israel and Lebanon. It harms Lebanon’s future."

With Hezbollah rejecting key terms, the current calm will hinge on how both sides respond to the next violation or strike

On Shabbat, the IDF says it eliminated a terrorist squad near its forward defensive line in southern Lebanon. The previous night, an IED wounded six soldiers; two are in serious condition. The army also reports seizing a strategic ridge as part of Operation "Eagle".

Less than a day after Iran said it reopened the Strait of Hormuz, the Revolutionary Guards closed it again. President Donald Trump responded: "Iran must reach an agreement. The ceasefire ends Tuesday night and will not be renewed".
