Fragmenting 5.56 rounds for M-16 and "Tavor" rifles, each with five steel pellets, are set to arrive from the U.S. next week. KAN News reported they are designed to expand the hit radius against drones by about 30 meters and have "proven themselves" in the Russia-Ukraine war; after successful U.S. trials, the IDF Ground Forces ordered hundreds of thousands of boxes. Hezbollah drones in southern Lebanon have killed five IDF soldiers and a civilian Defense Ministry employee so far.

Israel’s Health Ministry and Magen David Adom released updated figures on casualties from Iran and Hezbollah attacks. As of 7:00 a.m., 114 remain hospitalized, including two in critical condition.

With negotiations set for Tuesday, the IDF tightens its siege and applies combined air-and-ground pressure. IDF says roughly 20 militants who observed and opened fire from a hospital window in the town were killed.

The IDF and the Shin Bet said they eliminated Abd al-Rahman Ammar Hassan Khoudri, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative who took part in the October 7 raid on Nir Oz. In Lebanon, Maher Qassem Hamdan, commander of the 'Lebanese Brigades,' was killed near Sidon.

Staff Sgt. Tuval Yosef Lifshitz, 20, from Beit She'an, a fighter in the Golani Brigade's 13th Battalion, was killed yesterday in battle in southern Lebanon. An officer and four other soldiers were wounded in the same incident.

The IDF says it eliminated Hamza Ibrahim Rakhin, deputy commander of Unit 1800, along with the unit's operations chief; more than 100 Hezbollah-linked towers across Beirut were also destroyed.

Three other soldiers were moderately wounded, including a lieutenant colonel from the Yahalom unit. Katz, a ChabadHasid who lived in New Haven, Connecticut, made aliyah to enlist.

Two IDF officers were seriously and moderately wounded by an anti-tank missile in southern Lebanon. In a separate incident, an officer was seriously wounded and six soldiers were moderately wounded by rocket fire. The IDF says it killed Ali Hassan Shaib, an Al-Manar 'journalist' it calls a "Radwan Force" operative who exposed IDF positions.

The IDF released footage of Air Force strikes in central Beirut. So far, more than 100 Hezbollah targets have been hit, including high-rise buildings used as command centers for the terror group and its Radwan Force.

The IDF says its forces are conducting wide-ranging offensive operations in southern Lebanon. Dozens of Hezbollah terrorists have been killed in recent clashes with Israeli troops.

In the same incident that left one IDF soldier seriously wounded, an officer and two other soldiers were lightly hurt. Fifteen more troops were hospitalized for hypothermia—one in moderate condition. Families of all the wounded have been notified.

A reserve soldier was seriously wounded by rocket fire targeting IDF forces operating in Lebanon. A battalion commander and another reservist were lightly hurt and evacuated to hospitals. The IDF says the incident is under investigation, and Hezbollah claimed responsibility for more than 60 launches today.

The IDF spokesperson says internal Hamas documents recovered in Gaza detail a coordinated partnership with Hezbollah—directed by Iran. The files indicate Hamas was given the green light to build infrastructure and entrench itself inside Lebanon, without any involvement by the Lebanese state.

Division 36 steps up focused ground raids against Hezbollah infrastructure; depots and command posts destroyed, and several militants eliminated after attempting to flee.

Beirut escalates with Tehran, declaring the envoy unwelcome and telling him to leave within days. Amal and Hezbollah reportedly urged him to defy the order, as the government tightens visa rules, bans IRGC activity, and signals a tougher line on Hezbollah's military wing.

Overnight, the IDF hit a main crossing on the Litani River used by Hezbollah to move between its northern and southern sectors. Ground troops operating near Har Dov also found a shaft and demolished a weapons compound as part of a forward-defense push.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a brief video statement responding to President Donald Trump’s openness to talks with Iran. Netanyahu: "We continue to strike—in Iran and in Lebanon."

Givati Brigade troops in southern Lebanon spotted two armed Hezbollah terrorists from the "Radwan Force". The terrorists, who planned to fire an anti-tank missile at the troops, were captured and transferred for interrogation in Israel. In questioning, they admitted they planned to launch missiles toward communities in northern Israel.

Israel keeps targeting roads and supply lines in southern Lebanon to hem in Hezbollah. Lebanon’s prime minister, Nawaf Salam, urges a diplomatic path, calling ending the war the country’s top priority.
