The IDF carried out an airstrike on a Hamas cell leader in northern Gaza who, according to the military, was planning attacks against Israeli forces. It was the first strike of its kind since targeted assassinations were halted. The IDF said: "We will continue to act to remove any immediate threat."

Nikolay Mladenov, CEO of the Gaza Peace Council, issued his first statement in Hebrew, firmly denying any financial agreement with Hamas. He also confirmed that a mechanism to review violations of the Gaza agreement is already up and running.

The IDF identified unusual militant activity near the Yellow Line, raising concerns they were preparing to cross it. Forces on the ground requested permission to strike, but the military decided not to open fire after determining there was no "specific threat."

Paratrooper Brigade forces located an underground tunnel route in southern Gaza containing dozens of rockets belonging to terrorist organizations. The tunnel was destroyed in coordination with engineering forces and the Yahalom unit.

The IDF announced the destruction of another Hamas underground route in northern Gaza. The operation was carried out by forces from the Northern Brigade and the elite Yahalom unit, which have been working to clear the area of terror infrastructure.

The IDF said it killed two senior operatives in Gaza over the weekend, including a *Nukhba* militant from Palestinian Islamic Jihad and a commander in Hamas police. According to the military, both were involved in advancing terror plans against Israel.

The IDF said it killed the commander of a Hamas drone unit in the central camps of the Gaza Strip. According to the military, the operative was responsible for producing drones and had been trying to rebuild the group’s aerial capabilities.

Israel’s security cabinet approved the entry of an international force, a “Peace Council,” and a technocratic government into Gaza. A reconstruction pilot is set to begin in Rafah, subject to continued IDF control of the Yellow Line and strict restrictions.

The family of Alon Shamriz, who was mistakenly shot and killed in Gaza by IDF soldiers while escaping Hamas captivity, asked that he be recognized as a fallen IDF soldier. The justices rejected the request, saying Shamriz “does not meet the formal criterion for classification.”

The IDF said it carried out a strike in central Gaza and killed Mohand Asaad Mahmoud Abu Gazal, a Hamas Nukhba cell commander. In additional strikes, the military said it destroyed terror infrastructure and weapons storage sites used by the organization.

The IDF and Shin Bet said three Hamas terrorists were killed in a strike in northern Gaza, including one who took part in the October 7 massacre and was involved in advancing terror plans in the naval arena.
