Forces from the IDF’s 36th Division are continuing operations to clear the tunnel network and underground infrastructure built with Iranian funding and support in southern Lebanon. In one of the routes, maps were found on the tunnel walls illustrating the enemy’s deployment and the threat that had been planned against the communities of the Galilee Panhandle.

Khaled al-Aidi, a dual Ukrainian-Syrian citizen, was arrested in Lebanon by Hezbollah about six months ago on suspicion of helping Israel’s Mossad carry out assassinations of senior figures in the terror group. Now it has emerged that he took advantage of an Israeli strike three months ago in Dahieh and escaped.

Lebanese media aligned with Hezbollah published a piece urging President Joseph Aoun to back away from efforts to advance an agreement with Israel, while also threatening to reveal secrets tied to his past.

Satellite images released after Iran’s missile barrage appear to show possible damage at Israel’s Ramat David Air Base. The assessment is based on a comparison with earlier imagery, though the full extent of the damage remains unclear.

He is demanding a full IDF withdrawal from Lebanon and says his organization will continue its attacks. According to an Arab media report, the IDF has begun withdrawing from the Marj Ayoun area.

New details have emerged about a plan to topple Iran's ayatollah regime: Israel and the United States prepared an outline under which thousands of Kurdish fighters from Iraq were supposed to cross into Iranian territory. As part of the preparations, the Mossad supplied the Kurds with weapons and ammunition confiscated from Hamas and Hezbollah.

A Hezbollah explosive drone struck the vehicle of Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo, head of the IDF’s Northern Command, during a visit to southern Lebanon. The incident ended without injuries. In response, movement and security procedures in the area were changed.

The IDF said a U.N. staff member was killed and two others were wounded after Hezbollah fired mortars at a UNIFIL position in southern Lebanon.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir held a joint situational assessment with northern local council heads and the General Staff at Northern Command. He stressed the ongoing military effort against Hezbollah: "We have a shared goal — protecting the residents and communities of the north and restoring calm and security over time."

After the United States announced a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon, Israel’s political system responded fast. Defense Minister ישראל כ"ץ praised what he called a major diplomatic achievement and even raised the possibility of a future peace deal, while National Security Minister איתמר בן גביר warned that Hezbollah would only grow stronger.
