The United States has reportedly revoked Iran's oil export license following attacks on commercial tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, while negotiations continue.

The US launched 80 strikes in Iran; Iran retaliated by attacking US military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait.

Reports say Iranian missiles struck two commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, damaging the ships and raising concerns about renewed regional escalation.

President Donald Trump weighed in on the ongoing negotiations with Iran, again stressing: “I want the enriched uranium in our hands.” He also said the U.S. had secured the continued flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz.

The U.S. reportedly offered Iran a swap: give up its demand to control traffic through the Strait of Hormuz and stop charging ships to pass, and in return receive billions of dollars from frozen Iranian funds. According to The Wall Street Journal, Iran has so far rejected the offer.

Beginning tomorrow, Iran will launch a week of funeral events for Ali Khamenei. He is set to be buried next week in Mashhad. So far, there is no confirmation that his son, Mojtaba Khamenei, will take part in the ceremonies. At the same time, Iran is escalating its threats against Israel and the U.S.

Mohammad Akbarzadeh, a senior naval figure in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, was among the architects of efforts to close the Strait of Hormuz. He was killed in a car crash in the south of the country. In a separate incident, two Revolutionary Guards members were killed by sniper fire in northwestern Iran.

President Donald Trump said Iran requested an official meeting in Doha as soon as tomorrow. In Tehran, officials pushed back: "The technical meetings of the working groups are not scheduled for this week."

President Donald Trump said there is no urgent need to reach Iran’s nuclear materials because they are buried deep underground. At the same time, he warned that negotiations would stop if it turns out Tehran is collecting payments from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

The Iranian delegation said it is not prepared to continue the talks in Switzerland, after U.S. President Donald Trump said in an interview back home: "Iran must immediately stop its proxy in Lebanon from stirring up trouble. If they do not, we will hit Iran very hard."

After 18 hours of talks, Iran, Qatar, and Pakistan established a mechanism to ensure vessel safety through the Strait of Hormuz.

President Donald Trump threatened Iran over reports it could close the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said his country will not stop enriching uranium. Trump responded: "He should keep his mouth shut." On Lebanon, Trump added: "Israel can’t move Hezbollah."

An Iranian member of parliament said on live state television that Khamenei opposed contacts with the United States and that his conditions were left out of the memorandum of understanding. Minutes after he began revealing classified documents, the program was abruptly taken off the air.

President Donald Trump, currently in France, and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in Tehran, signed the memorandum of understanding overnight. Iran quickly stressed that control of the Strait of Hormuz will pass into its hands, and that Israeli ships will not be allowed to pass through it.

A newly revealed memorandum of understanding signed by the U.S. and Iran includes 14 clauses covering a halt to fighting, sanctions relief, and the nuclear program. The sides committed to negotiating a final agreement within 60 days.

The U.S. launched a broad new wave of strikes in Iran for the second night in a row. President Donald Trump said Israel was not involved in the Tomahawk missile attacks on targets across Iran. In response, Iran fired missiles at what it called "important" targets in Kuwait and Bahrain.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said the U.S. bears direct responsibility for violating the ceasefire and fueling the regional escalation: "Washington's responsibility for violating the ceasefire is clear."
